We work with natural lime because its breathable.
Breath-ability is key to keeping history alive. Older properties as well as properties using traditional materials and methods rely on breath-ability to preserve the structure, reduce damp and create healthier living environments.
Durable.
Lime is flexible which allows it to compensate for the inevitable movement of structures. This reduces shrinkage and cracking that is seen in modern plaster.
Environmentally friendly.
Lime is made from all natural product that allows for the recovery and reuse of building materials. It also absorbs carbon dioxide as it cures.
Lime mortar is considerably more ‘green’ than OPC – nearly 97% less CO2 emissions.

Keeping history alive
Working in both domestic and large scale projects we have gained experience that allows us to fully support you the customer.
In 2012 our expertise were furthered. HRH Prince of Wales ran a heritage Apprenticeship which allowed us to gain relevant experience in traditional plaster conservation to provide the correct skills for your project.
